Zelos Quartet Community Outreach Concert
We hosted our first community outreach concert!
On Thursday, July 28th, 2022, we were pleased to host the Zelos Quartet for a community outreach concert for students at the Booker T. Washington Community Service Center in San Francisco.
The Zelos Quartet is a Bay-Area saxophone quartet and they performed an engaging program of ‘Music of the Americas’ for students, featuring works by:
- Astor Piazzolla
- William Grant Still
- Clare Shore
- José Oliver Riojas
Students then got to learn all about the instruments in the saxophone family and even try a soprano saxophone!
